Free VT Walking Tours

is an independent activity that runs in the city since 2012, when it is started by volunteers, students with passion for the town.  Ever since then it has been run by locals, who share one thing in common – love for the city, its history, its vibe and its awesome people! 

Join us for a walk in the Old Town of VT!

Let us show you the place we love from our point of view. See the historical highlights and learn the legends and the quirky stories behind them. Walk the narrow cobblestone streets, while exploring the Bulgarian culture, gaining knowledge on the country and receiving our tips for places and activities in VT and the area.  

The tours are conducted in English language. 

We meet from April to November at 11 AM. 

Start: in front of the Tourist Information Center at 5 Hristo Botev str. (center)

Duration: 2.5hours

How much: The tours are free, there is no participation fee, however you can express your gratitude by leaving a tip for your guide, as they are donation based. 

No reservation required! Just show up!

Every tour is both fun and educational, the perfect introduction to the city and its many years of turbulent history. Our aim is to provide a pleasurable walk and most importantly – to be your local friend you can ask anything!
